OneLinks 2.0 January 9, 2026 Tim Leland The latest OneLinks update: templates, themes, blocks, QR Codes, and Analytics Build a OneLink faster, keep it on‐brand, and understand performance across taps and scans. Looking to Create Short URLs? T.LY is the best link shortener service to track, brand, and share short URLs. Create Short Links TL;DR • New template gallery (Link‐in‐bio, Digital business card, Products): 12 curated templates + Start from scratch. • New theme customization with live preview: colors, fonts, buttons, radius, spacing, and type scale. • New block-based builder with drag‐and‐drop and layout variants. • Custom QR codes: team default styling applies to OneLinks; override per block; QR supports URLs and vCards. • Analytics upgrades: separate clicks vs. QR scans plus referrer/geo/device breakdowns in the OneLinks dashboard. • Edit history: You can now see the past edits of your ShortLinks and OneLinks. • Legacy OneLinks: will automatically be converted to the new format. What’s New OneLinks is often the page that gets shared the most—and updated the most. This release makes it easier to make that work: start with a stronger default, customize quickly, and keep iterating without rebuilding. 1) A new template gallery (with three categories) When you create a OneLink, you’ll now start from a template gallery grouped by what you’re building: • Link‐in‐bio • Digital business card • Products You get 12 curated templates, plus a blank “Start from scratch” option. If you want specifics, template names you may see include Minimal Bio, Hero Stack, Profile Card, Editorial, Classic Card, Modern Split, Two‐Tone Split, Badge Compact, Products Grid, Featured Focus, Catalog, and Story. Pick a template, replace the content, and publish. Or start blank if you’d rather build your own layout. 2) Theme customization with live preview You can now customize your OneLink’s look and feel while you edit—no guessing, no “save and refresh” loop. Theme customization includes a live preview and controls the things teams care about day-to-day: • Colors: background, accent, text, card, muted • Fonts • Button style • Corner radius • Spacing • Type scale If you’ve ever tried to make three different pages feel like they belong to the same brand, this is the fix. 3) A block-based builder with drag‐and‐drop OneLinks now uses a block-based builder. Add content in pieces, then reorder or remove blocks with drag‐and‐drop. Many blocks also support layout variants, so you can switch formats without starting over. Available block types: • Profile, Hero, Image, Text • Links, Products • Review request, Contact • QR code, Video, Social Image block The Image block is intentionally simple—and that’s why it’s useful. Add a banner, a promo graphic, a product hero image, or a brand mark so your OneLink looks like a page, not just a stack of buttons. 4) Custom QR codes QR codes are a core part of how OneLinks gets shared—especially offline. With this update: • Your team’s default QR styling automatically applies to OneLinks. • Need a different look for a specific section? Use per‐block QR overrides via the QR customizer. • The QR block supports URLs and vCards (perfect for “scan to save contact”). 5) Analytics upgrades: clicks vs. scans, plus breakdowns Taps and scans are different behaviors—and they happen in different places. OneLink stats now separate clicks vs. QR scans, so you can tell what’s working online versus in the real world (events, packaging, signage, printed materials). Analytics are available in the OneLinks dashboard and include breakdowns by referrer, geo, and device. 6) Edit history OneLinks now keep the last 10 edits with the most recent changes. It’s easier to review what changed, and it’s easier to stay organized when more than one person touches the page. 7) Backward compatibility: legacy OneLinks convert automatically Already have OneLinks live? You don’t need to migrate or rebuild. Legacy OneLinks automatically convert to the new block system, so you can use the new builder, themes, analytics, QR options, and edit history right away. Why It Matters This update is built around practical wins: • Faster setup: Templates get you to a publish-ready layout quickly. • Brand consistency: Theme controls help every OneLink match your visual identity. • Flexibility: Blocks make it easy to add a new section, reorder campaign content, or swap visuals without having to redo the page. • Measurable performance: With clicks vs. scans and referrer/geo/device context, you can optimize based on real behavior. A few quick examples: • Creator link‐in‐bio: Start with a Link‐in‐bio template, add a Hero + Links section, and use the Image block for your latest launch artwork. Track which sources drive clicks—and whether QR scans spike after in‐person moments. These templates are a great alternative to Linktree pages. • Digital business card: Use a business card template, add Contact, then add a QR block with a vCard payload. It works at conferences and continues to work afterward. • Product catalog: Pick a Products template, feature items with the Products block, and reorder as promotions change. Use geo and device breakdowns to see what’s resonating. How to Try It • Go to OneLinks in your T.LY dashboard and create a new OneLink (or open an existing one). • Choose a template (or start from scratch), then build with blocks and drag‐and‐drop ordering. • Apply your theme and add a QR block if you’re sharing offline. • Publish, then review clicks vs. scans and the referrer/geo/device breakdowns from the OneLinks dashboard. • • Analytics • How To • Influencers • Marketing • OneLinks • Qr Codes • T.LY • Tools Related Posts How to Add UTM Parameters to T.LY ShortLinks Smart URLs: One Link, Many Destinations Introducing Webhooks: Real-Time Link Events Tim Leland Tim Leland brings over 20 years of software development experience to the table, creating products used by millions around the globe.
